Roborater Service
Download the Roborater Fact Sheet (PDF 2.8MB)
Roborater allows one design to be assessed in several climate zones, orientations, with numerous combinations of improvements. The service is perfect for project builders and product research as it allows us to take one design and modify it slightly thousands of times to achieve desired results.
Sustainability House founder Jim Woolcock explains about the benefits of the service.
“What we are actually doing is creating a virtual building in the Accurate software and simulating it thousands of times in a short period of time.
For example we could produce a report outlining the result of 4 building designs with 20 different improvement options in 69 different climate zones, in 8 different orientations giving us 44,160 improvement options. Of these we can select which combinations achieve 5 star or 6 star compliance.
Our system can do this in a few hours whereas it would take a person years to achieve the same results”
The report offers a guide for builders to select cost effective improvements for different climate zones and orientations and also gives product manufacturers valuable data on the performance of their product.
